An AMH (anti-Müllerian hormone) blood test measures the level of AMH in your blood, which reflects your ovarian reserve, the number of eggs you have left. It can be taken on any day of your cycle. It does not measure egg quality or predict whether you will conceive, but it helps a fertility specialist understand your reproductive potential and plan treatment.
Carrying out an AMH blood test is a good marker of your fertility potential, as it enables us to assess your ovarian reserve (egg supply) and predict how many eggs we might be able to collect if fertility treatment is required.
